Vemar Yacht Coatings supports Sea Shepherd Greece in protecting the Aegean Sea!

Vemar Yacht Coatings is proud to announce a new partnership with Sea Shepherd Greece, supporting their mission to protect marine life in the Aegean Sea. We have supplied a complete high-performance antifouling system, Vemar Comfort Plus, along with essential primers and thinners, to protect the hull of their patrol vessel, the M/Y Emanuel Bronner.

The Emanuel Bronner plays a critical role in guarding the National Marine Park of Alonissos and protecting the endangered Mediterranean monk seal (Monachus monachus). This sponsorship builds on the momentum of last year’s highly successful campaign in the Thracian Sea, which saw the arrival of the 36-meter vessel Sea Eagle to the fleet. During that operation, Sea Shepherd crews achieved record-breaking results, removing 6,571 illegal plastic traps and liberating 571 octopuses back into the wild.

At Vemar Yacht Coatings, we are honored that our products will now support the vessels that work tirelessly to protect our seas. By ensuring the vessel remains in peak condition for the upcoming season, we are directly contributing to the fight against illegal fishing and the preservation of Greek marine biodiversity.
